Vintage Boombox formed in early 2018 and in its short existence has developed a unique style that is fast becoming much in demand.
Whether its Corporate evenings, intimate pre-dinner drinks receptions, Jazz festivals or their residencies in Dublin's Café En Seine, The Dalkey Duck and more, VBB have the experience and musical ability to blend in or to stand out.
Since the Covid 19 pandemic began, The band have produced 3 Albums' worth of Videos on Youtube and Started releasing their unique take on Pop Music through Spotify and Apple Music. They have collaborated with a host of fantastic Irish Musicians including Johnny Logan & The Late Late Show Houseband,
Mark Flynn is a versatile piano player and Composer from Dublin, who from a young age has been performing solo piano concerts as well as touring with orchestras and in choirs. Having completed his B.A in jazz performance at the Newpark Music Centre, Dublin, in 2014, and most recently an MA in Music Technology with a distinction at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth; he continues to perform, compose and build a career for himself playing alongside some of Dublin's finest musicians.
Despite being only in her mid- twenties, power-house soul singer Sandii Jane Hyland has been playing with the finest touring & Function bands, choirs & original acts for the last decade, including The Stars from the Commitments, the Legends of Swing, U.M.A.N, Elemeno, Blush Choir and Band, and many more, she has also been a contestant on The Voice of Ireland.
Cormac Moore started playing bass professionally in the mid-90s, starting out as a regular sideman with the biggest Tribute Bands of the era. With Ray McCann he was a founder member of musical comedy act The Camembert Quartet in 2000. which gained the attention of Ryan Tubridy, who took the band with him as his house band on his TV Show Tubridy Tonight in 2004 & Becoming the Late Late Show House Band in 2009. Cormac has played with many famous Irish and international stars. Cormac also started managing bands in 2009.
Ray McCann has worked in the Music Industry for over 30 years playing with a myriad of Artists, from The Hot House Flowers, Davy Spillane & The RTE Concert Orchestra, and for the past 20 years with The Camembert Quartet; now celebrating 10 years as The Late Late Show House band and previously featuring as resident band on Tubridy Tonight. Having such a prestigious platform has enabled Ray to perform with everyone from Michael Buble, Sinead O’Connor, Billy Ocean, Curtis Stigers, Russell Crowe, Johnny Logan, Daniel O’Donnell, Nathan Carter and continues to play behind many visiting artists.
